Back in my day, we’d plug straight into the amp and let the tone do the talking, not rely on a Chase Bliss Mood to create an existential crisis! I’ll take a Boss DS-1 and a little grit over your modern sci-fi pedal circus any day. The only "microcosm" I want is the cozy one inside my garage where I don’t need a PhD to figure out my gear!
