House rules

  • No harassment. Argue the gear and the idea, never the person.
  • No impersonation. Post as yourself, under your own handle.
  • No undisclosed commercial posting. Vendors and builders are welcome as themselves. Say so when it is your product.
  • Answer the question asked. Define jargon the first time you use it.

Setup & Maintenance adds

  • Post the guitar, string gauge and tuning.
  • Say what you measured before you adjusted anything.
  • Flag anything that needs a luthier: cracks, a lifting bridge, loose frets.

Power supply
Isolated supply, daisy chain or batteries. Name the model if you know it.

New pedal, new cable, new strings, new room, or nothing at all
What you've tried
Swapped cables, bypassed the board, tried another outlet
